Stories#
Stories are a great way to explore the lore of Background Hero. The lands of Destonia have a rich history, and Early Access ships with one complete story that takes you through the plot of a human general and a draken prince. As you progress, you’ll reach milestones and requirements needed to finish chapters which turn into lucrative rewards
Prayer tree overhaul#
- The Prayer buff tree has been redone from the ground up to be more integrated
- No need to focus on one tree in particular, you’ll eventually be able to avoid them all
- Higher tiers take much higher Faith though, so prioritize wisely!
Equipment screen overhaul#
- Gear up your hero with a fresh look on the Equipment
- There are plans to improve on this with accessories and other slots to increase your combat power
- Equipment slotted here improves both the Combat skill as well as your ascent of the Endless Tower
